Teams will use laser tag equipment featuring an innovative system for monitoring the gear and players. Matches are conducted in accordance with the competition conditions as specified in the technical rules of tactical sports. The tournament is held in the “Tactical Confrontation” discipline, where teams compete in a 5‑vs‑5 format on a single playing field. Before the match: Teams reduce the number of ranked disciplines by alternately banning them until only one ranked discipline remains. This final discipline determines the gameplay objective for the teams in the match. Each discipline consists of 4 games. One game lasts 2 minutes 30 seconds of pure playing time and is divided into rounds. A round is defined by the completion of the gameplay task specified by the ranked discipline. Victory in a game is determined by the number of completed tasks within the allotted time (2 minutes 30 seconds). After each game, the teams switch their starting zones.Game scoring: Win: 3 points, Draw: 1 point, Loss: 0 points. The total match score is determined by the sum of game points and the number of completed gameplay tasks performed by a team.The winner is determined by the final match score. There is a 1‑minute break between games.
Qualification stage ends: October 14, 2026 (inclusive). Results announcement: by October 31, 2026.To participate, each team must register on the WTS digital platform. Each team must comprise at least 5 athletes plus 2 reserve members, with exactly 5 competing at each stage. Every team must complete 20 games under any tactical game scenario (airsoft, paintball, or laser tag) within the WTS digital platform.
Finals will be held in Abu Dhabi from December 16 to December 22, 2026, featuring the 50 top‑ranked teams that have distinguished themselves in their respective national qualifications.
The finals are conducted in accordance with the technical regulations, tactical sports rules, and other normative documents of the WTS Championship in the "Tactical Confrontation" discipline.

The World Tactical Community ("WTC") was established in November 2025 in response to the need for a global governing body for tactical sports to promote, develop, and increase interest, understanding, awareness, and the image of tactical sports both internationally and nationally. WTC is a non-governmental and non-commercial organization with multiple memberships, which sets the general direction and oversees the implementation and popularization of tactical sports internationally, and stimulates participation in tactical sports at the national level by selecting the host country and/or host city for WTS competitions and any other WTS events. The World Tactical Community is the sole international organization that establishes and develops the rules and requirements for the preparation and conduct of WTS competitions and any other WTS events, and oversees their compliance and implementation by the WTS family, including the host country, host city, and organizing organization. Given the foregoing, the mission of WTS is to: • encourage participation in tactical sports at all levels worldwide by holding events, games, and competitions; • ensure, promote, and develop the tactical sports product worldwide as a system of various national and international leagues of physical clubs; • create professional networks through communication, meetings, conferences, and symposia aimed at capacity building and standardizing the implementation of tactical sports both internationally and nationally; • interact with authorities regarding the preparation and conduct of WTS events and/or WTS competitions; • cooperate and liaise with other international non-governmental organizations for the preparation and conduct of WTS events, as well as for the promotion and popularization of tactical sports; • promote a better understanding and acceptance of tactical sports through educational events, training courses, public information programs, educational activities, lectures, seminars, conferences, exhibitions; and • establish and develop technical rules, regulations, and ethical standards governing, among other things, the organization of WTS competitions and any other WTS events.
